SAPUI5 Explorer

 Summary: SAPUI5 Explorer does not collect, store, transmit
        or share any user data. All analysis is performed locally in your browser
        and never leaves your device.

1. What This Extension Does

SAPUI5 Explorer is a developer tool that analyzes SAPUI5/OpenUI5 web applications running in your browser. When you click the Analyze button, it inspects the active tab to extract technical information about the UI5 framework, components, models, views, bindings, and runtime configuration.

2. Data Collection

This extension does not collect any data. Specifically:

No personal information is collected
No browsing history is recorded
No cookies are read or written
No analytics or tracking scripts are included
No data is transmitted to any server, third party or otherwise
No user accounts or authentication are required

3. Data Processing

All processing happens entirely within your browser:

A script is injected into the active tab only when you explicitly click Analyze
The script reads UI5 framework objects available in the page's JavaScript context
Results are displayed in the extension popup and held in memory only for the current session
When you close the popup, the data is discarded

4. Data Storage

This extension does not use any persistent storage mechanism. No data is saved to local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, Chrome storage APIs or the filesystem. Analysis results exist only in the popup's runtime memory and are lost when the popup closes.

5. Data Sharing

No data is shared with anyone. The extension has no network functionality and makes no outbound HTTP requests. The optional Copy JSON feature copies analysis results to your local clipboard under your control.

6. Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions, used solely for its core functionality:

activeTab — to access the tab you are currently viewing when you click the extension icon
scripting — to inject the analysis script into the page's JavaScript context
host_permissions (<all_urls>) — because SAP applications run on arbitrary customer domains that cannot be predefined. The extension only activates on explicit user action.

7. Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with, communicate with, or send data to any third-party service, API, or server.

8. Children's Privacy

This extension is a developer tool not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Since the extension collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
